Mark Clifford Heltzel
Mark Clifford Heltzel, longtime Ponca City resident, died Saturday, Aug. 2, 1997, at the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. He was 44.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, at the Odd Fellows Cemetery with Mr. Larry Keirn, Grand Avenue Church of Christ, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Trout Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home until 1 p.m. Wednesday.
Born Oct. 12, 1952, in Fort Worth, Texas, Mark Clifford Heltzel was the son of Carroll M. and Betty Joe (Florence) Heltzel. He graduated from Ponca City High School in 1970. Mark attended Northern Oklahoma College and Oklahoma State University. He was a member of the Grand Avenue Church of Christ and enjoyed golf, basketball and his family.
Survivors include his mother, Betty, of the home; brothers, Richard of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Jay of Missouri City, Texas. His father, Carroll M. Heltzel, preceded him in death.
